At MuMa our aim is that students learn the chosen language with a communicative approach, therefore we offer interactive and dynamic classes with highly qualified teachers to adapt to the needs of the students, both in Spain and abroad.
Our history
How MuMa was born
MuMa was born out of the desire of professionals in the education sector to offer an exclusive, quality language programme, different to anything else currently on the market.
There is an overwhelming offer of Language Courses and Courses Abroad that leaves us in a sea of doubts when it comes to choosing which company or which services to contract.
MuMa is a unique and different company:
MuMa offers its services not only in Valencia, but there is also the possibility of travelling abroad to any country of the languages MuMa offers.
We avoid overcrowding, our aim is not to have hundreds of students in our centre, nor to send them abroad every summer without knowing their profile, their interests and concerns. We interview and orientate the student personally.
Their level of English, their maturity and their desire to learn or live the language adventure are priority and essential requirements for the success of the programme, whether in our centre or abroad.
MuMa guarantees the quality of its centre and of the foreign centres and the environment that will host the student.
We personally choose and approve all the services we offer without relying on the opinions of third parties. MuMa and all our partners have worldwide accreditations for the quality of teaching and services offered.

About us
Rut Muñiz Calderón
I have been teaching English for specific purposes at the Catholic University of Valencia since 2001.
I have direct daily contact with teenagers and young adults because of my job and I know how interesting and important it is to have intercultural experiences nowadays, not only for the language learning but also for the unique personal experience.
As the daughter of an American mother I have always been in contact with other cultures, something that was always encouraged in my family. In my youth I participated in various exchange programmes in Ireland and England and I studied for a year in the United States at an American High School in Boston, living with an American family. This was one of the best experiences of my life and has marked me personally and professionally.
I have also wanted my children to participate in similar programmes because it is something we consider essential for the education of our children.
I have a PhD in Anglo-Germanic philology and I have worked in different educational centres, I am fluent in English and French. I have taught at universities in France and the United States, as well as participating in international conferences on English language learning. I lived in Florida for two years where I taught Spanish for Americans.
For me, MuMa is the dream come true of offering an accessible and affordable service to those who wish to enjoy an unforgettable and instructive experience.
Covadonga Pérez de Villegas Muñiz
I have a Law Degree in English from the University of Valencia, and I have always been in contact with other cultures, something that is always encouraged in my family. As a teenager I participated in several exchange programmes in Ireland and England and I studied High School in the United States in an American High School in Pennsylvania, living with an American family. This was also one of the best experiences of my life, emotionally and professionally.
My contact with the English language has been since I was born, as it has been something very much instilled in my home.
I enjoy MuMa, trying to encourage our students to have the same passion for languages that I have, as I consider it to be one of the most important things in terms of education nowadays.
At MuMa I am in charge of welcoming our students, organising the classrooms and the timetable of the different groups, managing the different classes and the teachers’ tasks. I also take care of all the labour, administrative and fiscal issues of the company, as this is also what I was trained for at the University.
